The Jzilla Car Control Clinic is designed and coached by 9 of the East Coast’s most notable Performance Driving Coaches, stunt drivers, and competitive racers. Using their cumulative experience, Jzilla has assembled this exciting clinic using 4 car control modules. Learn how to proactively avoid understeer and oversteer on the Wet Skidpad. Master proper techniques for maximizing lateral weight transfer on the Slalom course. Understand how threshold braking really works in the Braking module. And put all of those skills together while practicing “String Theory” on the mini-circuit Autocross module! Roughly 3.5 hours of seat time!

Please read this packet CAREFULLY, it will contain links to valuable information, procedures, and forms to help you have a smooth day. It would benefit sharing this page with guests you intend to bring.

If you have been directed here by SpeedWaiver, your email address has been verified. We are implementing electronic waivers to enhance our guest experience, this will replace the physical waiver signed at Check-In and MUST be completed before you may participate. This is not to be mistaken for the waiver the track requires before you enter. ALL PARTICIPANTS (drivers & guests) ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THE WAIVER BEFORE SEPTEMBER 16.

DRIVERS WHO DO NOT SIGN THE WAIVER BEFORE CHECK-IN WILL WAIT UNTIL WE ASSIST THOSE WHO ARE PREPARED.


COVID-19 REQUIREMENTS:


Jzilla Track Days is nothing without our community, we believe it is our duty to protect our community in a responsible manner. We have specific guidelines we ALL must abide by concerning COVID-19. This event will incur stoppage or cancellation if ALL participants do not adhere to these mandatory requirements:

  • Please stay home if you are experiencing any symptoms of illness, have an elevated temperature, or have been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19.

  • The temperatures of all guests may be monitored.

  • Social distancing must be implemented at all times. Please maintain a minimum of six feet from staff and participants.

  • Avoid physical contact with others when possible.

  • Participants should wash their hands regularly for 20 seconds.

  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.

  • Drivers with open-faced helmets must wear a cloth face mask or covering (balaclava) if they have a passenger in their vehicle.

  • Passengers with open-faced helmets must wear a cloth face mask or covering (balaclava) while they are in a driver’s vehicle.

    If you feel you cannot meet these requirements, please contact Jzilla Track Days Staff to withdraw, and a credit will be issued that can be redeemed towards another Jzilla event in the future. Further guidelines to protect yourself and our community can be found at the CDC website.

CHECK-IN REQUIREMENTS:


  1. A completed and signed 2022 Jzilla Track Days Tech Sheet.

  2. An SA2015 or newer helmet.

  3. A valid drivers license that corresponds with your Tech Sheet information.

  4. You must be wearing a cloth face mask or covering.

  5. Completed the e-waiver process (link posted above).

Any driver without these items at Check-In will be asked to to step aside while we attend to those who are prepared. This will likely result in forfeiture of track time.

JZILLA TECH SHEET

HOW TO COMPLETE YOUR TECH SHEET

We prioritize all our guests' safety as our primary objective. This Tech Sheet is a legal document that must be filled out correctly. Please note that the form linked above will be the only version we accept. Older versions of our Tech Sheet will not be accepted! Please take the time to complete and sign this form BEFORE you arrive at the track. This Tech Sheet must be completed by a competent technician, person, or shop. You, the participant, must sign all signature lines at the bottom of the tech sheet. If you aren't comfortable performing a tech inspection yourself, we recommend these businesses for Tech Inspection. However, you may use a shop of your choice.

CHECK-IN PROCEDURE:


We will be running Registration Check-In stations outside in the area marked on the interactive map. Please queue while respecting 6 foot social distancing guidelines. If you have not completed the required e-waiver at this time, we will direct you to a kiosk where you can complete that process.

Next, approach the Check-in staff member, please hold your license and Tech Sheet to the translucent barrier for verification. You will also be asked to show your helmet is SA2015 or newer. After you have been verified, place your Tech Sheet in the storage box nearby. The staff member will record your attendance and issue an envelope containing your credentials:

  • Event Decal - affix this decal on the left corner of your windshield, prominently visible so Jzilla Staff can identify while approaching the driver side of your car.

  • Wristband - please wear your wristband on your LEFT wrist. You will be required to show your wristband to Grid workers before you are allowed to enter the track. Passengers must also show their wristband at this time, too.

  • Additional promotional items may be found in the envelope.

You are responsible for your credentials. Wristbands must be worn at all times. If you need a replacement, please bring the damaged materials to our staff. Passenger wristbands may be attained at Check-In, in person only so we can verify they have signed the waiver as well.

EVENT SPECIFIC INFORMATION:


  • There will be other events running simultaneously, please be considerate and respectful. The Proving Grounds, Off Road Courses, and Main Track will all be in use. You are only allowed to participate for the event you registered.

  • BARBER MOTORSPORTS PARK RULES (including camping)

  • A Drivers Briefing will be at the Registration Check-in area at 8:00 AM. Attendance is MANDATORY. Those not present will be penalized or asked to leave, no refunds.

  • We will assign drivers to pods during the Drivers Meeting.

  • Numbers are required on BOTH sides of each vehicle, they must be 8 inches or larger and easily legible. You may use any number you like, these are for the benefit of the Jzilla Staff & Instructors to identify you.

  • For scheduling updates, please text opt into text messages through your Motorsportsreg.com account. This is best way to stay apprised of any changes or delays.

  • Drivers and passengers between ages 16 and 18 are permitted with permission from a parent or guardian, and must be accompanied by and adult 18 years or older. Both the adult and the minor will be required to fill out an under-18 specific waiver.

  • We drive rain or shine, hot or cold. If you bring a canopy, we ask you secure it with weight, but NO staking into the tarmac. You will not receive a credit because you do not want to drive in the rain.

  • Paddock speed is walking speed and strictly enforced.

  • Drivers are responsible for their passengers. This includes your passengers actions. No hand held devices, arms out the windows while on track, you risk being black flagged during your session.

  • Acknowledge the Safety and Corner Workers. They work very hard in adverse conditions so we can be safe. Show them some love and respect during your sessions, it means a lot to them.

  • We request that any dangerous behavior be brought to the attention of Jzilla Staff immediately.

  • Cancellation policy - 14 days or less from the event, your entry fee minus $50 will be credited back to your Motorsportsreg.com account. 3 days or less will be no refunds or credits.

SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION:


  • Complimentary refreshments will be provided in a large cooler containing beverages throughout the event near the Registration area, courtesy of Jzilla Track Days. Please stay hydrated and safe!

  • Sorry, no pets. We love ours, but this is a Barber Motorsports Park rule.

  • Observe all posted speed limits on the track property.

  • Please use a substrate under any jack stands above the pavement when in use. Boards, metal, etc.

  • Alcohol and firearms are prohibited.

  • No tires, fuel barrels, or loose refuse are to be left behind.

  • Report spills to Jzilla Staff or AMP Staff immediately to prevent clean-up fines.

  • No drones are allowed except by Jzilla-approved photographers.

We are all guests of these facilities so please help us maintain our reputation accordingly. Jzilla Track Days Staff takes great measures to ensure our participants have the best experience, please plan ahead, arrive early and come prepared. Any participant who cannot attend for any reason should contact kevin@jzillatrackdays.com so we may allow another to participate in your place. We will credit your entry fee to your MSR account. Driver spots are NOT transferable, we have many registrants on standby who would love an opportunity to fill your roster spot.
